Welcome Singo Barong,
This is one 'strange' keris. Looks to me a keris naga luk 3. You can see the naga figurine at the gandik. Safely you can call this keris naga (?). It has a thick and a short blade. Also having a metuk and 2 deep sogokan. These features can be found on a jalak buda keris. Sorry, but I would not comment on the tangguh as I have my doubts. The hilt also not appropriate as the one used there (squatting human figurine) is meant for pedang Batak. |

I agree with Newsteel, very strange indeed. I guess the warangan is very thick (judging from the pics), so be careful with the blade.
The dapor has very close resemblance to what we, Malaysians call Naga kikik, or is it keris bima? |

Greetings all,
I agree with Newsteel on the hilt type. As for figurine at the gandik, it looks more like Naga Siluman to me since the naga's body blends with the blade... as far as I can see from the reflective photos. The blade looks fairly new to me. This is just my intrepetation, based on these pictures. I may be wrong. PenangsangII, I believe that Naga Kikik, resembles a 'dog-like'(wolf) figurine at the gandik area. |
