ebay sword
Anybody see this one go by or win it? I was just a watcher but it looked like it had some potential.

yeah, was keeping an eye on that... appears to be one of those superlative junggayans with the whole tail broke off. cleaned up, it would look decent. there's a possibility it might be twistcore...

I had a gut feeling that both blades on this two auctions were twist-cores.
They both arrived the same day early last week. The photos were too large to upload so linked the photos on my photo bucket. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Moro...nc#ht_40wt_888 http://www.ebay.com/itm/121193139865...1#ht_108wt_680 http://s811.photobucket.com/user/ccu...30b8f.jpg.html |

The krises dimensions: 32" long, despite the missing tail on it's pommel, 24" blade 1/2" thick cross guard, and about 2" wide.

Just a point of fact gentlemen. When you make all these links to ended eBay auctions you have to remember that these photos will disappear in a very short period of time rending this conversation virtually useless in the very near future when we have no illustration to accompany the discussion. There are many free online serves available for shrinking files sizes. We have discussed these many times before, but if you google it will come... Just sayin'...

A FEW MORE PICTURES THEY DIDN'T EVEN NEED TO BE RESIZED. JUST SAVED AND UPLOADED HERE TO THE FORUM. A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS. I HOPE THE NEW OWNER CLEANS IT UP AND RESTORES IT AND POSTS SOME PICTURES HERE ON THE FORUM IT LOOKS LIKE IT HAS POTENTIAL.

All the breakages on this kris (handle and scabbard) were covered with deep patina, I'd like to preserve it as is. The only reason I cleaned the blade was due to active rust. Thanks for all the appreciations, Gentlemen.
