HELP PLEASE---Stopper shape Barutdan
Have just landed this Barutdan but have never seen one (or a pic of one) with a stopper.
Can anyone please post a pic showing the stopper? Stu |

Hi Stu. I have a pic somewhere in my library. I'll find and post it Saturday when I get home. Rick.

Hi Stu. I can't get to my photo library till Monday. I will search for it then. The plain wood/horn stoppers for this style of flask look like the shape of a small door knob. At least the ones I've seen. It's too bad most of these stoppers are usually missing Meantime, try googling Indonesia Persian powder flask and see what comes up. Rick.

By the way, that's a really nice piece, especially with the leather strap still intact. Rick.

I meant to say: Indo-Persian. Getting old I guess.
Should not be to difficult to have turned on a wood lathe. Rick. |
