Default Question about a symbol on Mandau

On the left is the sheath of a mandau and on the right a part of a Pisau Raut. Both from Kalimantan (Dayaks).
Does anyone know what the symbol circled in red means?

Hoi Godfried,

it might be a tree of life motif.

Regards,
Kai

I was thinking the same as Kai. I was also thinking of the centipede.

Well, both are possible but which of those 2 options would it be. Hopefully an expert will come to this thread who can provide convincing evidence of what it really is. By the way, I have seen the motif on multiple Dayak objects.

Good day Godfried,

It is for the first time i saw mandau sheath like that, i meant it for the anatomy of the sheath not the carving.
A full picture of the sheath will be better.
