big axe for identification
It measures 36 cm in length, 31.5 cm wide, sharp on one side...a punch with the letter P and C not sure for second letter ?
the handle do not have the original. GIVE ME YOUR OPINIONS PLEASE |

The shape and dimensions of this axe suggest it belongs to a group called beheading, decapitation or executioner's axes; they are usually associated with England.
I strongly doubt though that most of them are genuine objects, including this one. Attached at bottom is a sample in the Tower of London. Best, Michael |
