Default Bowie knife!

What do you think about this Bowie knife....
Stag handle....
Blade lenght 27 cm
Blade mark: Austin

Any opinions at all should be very much appreciated!

This is a classic India made bowie knife (sometimes called a tiger knife) made in the late 1800's- early 1900's for Englishmen. Other similar knives made by Arnachellum (I had one). Good, well made knives, but not American bowie.

I should add these knives are very collectible and bring good prices. Nice find. I wish I had kept my Arnachellum.

Hombre and Rich:

Thanks for bringing these knives up, and noticing that they are another example of Anglo-Indian knives of good quality. I agree with Rich that these are very collectable knives.
