Default Kris-kingle

The year draws to an end. Let's make a kris gathering for some holiday sights and cheers! Post your favorite kris from your collection. Keris are also welcome!

Here's mine, a Tausug kalis.

I have only one in my collection, so the decision was not really hard

A Keris Palembang with a fine carved ivory hilt and a very nice blade.
Merry christmas in advance,
Robin

Very fine keris sir! And happy holidays indeed. How old would something like this be? I'm curious as I'm not that privy to keris info.

Default Merry K(e)rismas!

Here's my K(e)rismas photo from last year, featuring three of my favorite pieces.

Season's greetings,
Leif

I will open a thread in the right forum tomorrow, maybe with additional photos.
I wouldn't like to board this Kristmas thread
Greetings

OK, i do have one photo of my favorite Moro kris. This kris is particularly special to me because it is actually the very first ethnographic edged weapon i ever acquired. This is what started my passion. If there could only be one...
The fittings on the hilt are a fairly high grade silver and the asang-asang is suassa.

...and a Blessed Krismas to you all.

Exquisite kris sir! Every line seems to speak of luxury and high taste. Merry Krismas! Rick, if we can only buy the whole rack...lol
