Default Two interesting South American Native Items

I thought that these might be interesting to add to the S. American Native Collective.

They are rather nice. I like the double ended piece the most. What is the pommel made of on the single dagger? Any chance of a better photo? These must be causing you a head ache however I could be the cure.

With a little googling these must have could from Guayas province rather than the city area on the label.

Thanks Tim, you almost got your wish My wife and I play this game, that when I bring in a weapon I assure her that it has never harmed anyone, she winks, groans and allows me to carry it upstairs. Yesterday, when she was taking the pictures, she read the label about headhunters and let us say we almost had a strike in the photography dept.(my wife takes my pictures).
The original video was fantastic with the exception that some of the natives had well formed steel tipped spears, which to my limited experience, I had never seen in Central and South America(maybe some enhanced stagging). The second more modern film that followed had the warriors with crude but effective sharpened wooden spears, like the ones that I also bought at this auction.
The pommel on the dagger may be a nut, or clay, or pitch, with seeds embedded in.
More pictures will follow after negotiations (and bribery), with the photography dept.
