Default Zulu, Shona , or other battle ax ?

I'm not quite sure about this battle ax ; I think it could be Zulu or Shona.Any other opinions ?

Hi

Nice axe.

You can see the stylistic similarity in the incised, blackened, circular carving and copious wirework, with the spear you posted last September. So, probably safe to assume this axe is from the same area, ie. Zimbabwe, Mozambique or even Malawi ?

Great observation ; the pieces came from opposite ends of the country, months apart ; I guess they were destined to be together.
