Dajak lance.
Just for sharing.
This is an old dajak lance I found last month. Nothing special, but with great glossy patina on the wooden shaft and a good old one. PS: It took me a whole day driving to pick it up....Am I the only mad collector around here or are there more amongst us?? Please tell me if I need to see a psychiatrist.... OK Roy, you have my bankaccount allready to start the fund.
Here in the Netherlands they show up once in a while, but the problem is that they need to get picked up because of the shipping of these long things... They are probably taken long ago by Dutchmen who were situated in Indonesia because they were at the knil-army or because of work at oil companies or other services. I could imagine they took them together with other trophees by boat when they returned home again... Maurice |

Hi Maurice,
nice piece and you have my full understanding that you drive a whole day for it. When a psychiatrist tell you that you need help, no problem, I will drive a day to take away your burden! Regards, Detlef |
