Default Good luck Egypt and Australia

With so many bad things having happened without warning in recent times around the world, I'm sure many of us are now thinking of our forum comrades in Australia and Egypt with a certain sense of dread, as such uncertain times confront them.

I know the reasons couldn't be more different, but I'm sure everyone will join with me in wishing both nations the best of luck for a peaceful and swift resolution to what they are facing.

Guys, our thoughts are with you. Hope both of your 'storms' are over soon.

And to all who are freezing in the East, keep it toasty.

And hopefully no one will take advantage of the chaos, anywhere.

Thanks my friends
since mid of November, we are back from Egypt, presently we are in Paris

if physicly speaking we are in France, by spirit we are with our family overthere

as far as the contact with internet is restored, we are more quiet,
now only God knows what to be tomorrow ...

realy, the country weren't need a similar "turmoil", but no way to stop the "history"

thanks again for your thoughtfulness

Unhappy

I PRAY THAT EVERYTHING SETTLES DOWN IN BOTH PLACES AND FOR ALL OTHER PLACES SUFFERING DISASTER.
NATURE USUALLY RELENTS AND WE ADAPT AND REBUILD SO AUSTRALIA WILL BE RIGHT AGAIN SOON. WE ARE DIGGING OUT OF THE 14 INCHS OF SNOW HERE (ITS A NEW RECORD FOR US) 9 BELOW ZERO TONIGHT ALSO A RECORD. BUT WE WILL DEAL WITH IT AND IT WILL PASS.
I FEAR FOR EGYPT AND ITS PEOPLE AS CHAOS NEVER BRINGS GOOD CHANGES IT ONLY MAKES THINGS MUCH WORSE. THE WAY TO SAFELY CHANGE THINGS IS TO USE ONES MIND AND MAKE A GOOD PLAN OVER TIME AND CHOOSE LEADERS VERY CAREFULLY. A MOB RUNNING AMUCK ON EMOTION WITH NO PLAN DOES NOT USE ITS MIND AND OFTEN SOME BAD GROUP TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE CHAOS TO TAKE CONTROL. I HOPE GOD HELPS EGYPT AVOID A BAD FATE OR WAR AND PROVIDES A GOOD LEADER WHO IS USING HIS MIND TO HELP THE PEOPLE AND NOT SEEKING POWER, CONQUEST OR DESTRUCTION. DOM I AM GLAD YOU ARE SAFELY IN PARIS AND I PRAY YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN EGYPT STAY SAFE.

Well spoken everyone, and I join in thoughts and prayers for our friends in Australia and Egypt. Along with Barry, I agree this major winter storm across much of the U.S. is troublesome and inconvenient, but certainly pales in comparison to these other events. Its good to see thoughtfullness and friendship prevail, thanks guys.

All best hopes and wishes,
Jim

As collectors, we can also help.

Some Egyptian antiquities have been looted, although the Egyptian people are rallying to protect museums where they can.

Still, collectors can keep an eye out for anything that looks like it was looted from Egypt, and help repatriate it once the troubles are resolved.

Best,

F

I second that. Good luck, lads; hopefully this will pass without too much loss, of life, limb or treasures, to all parties.
