Default Travel to India Prince Alexei Saltykov

In Russia, not very long ago was published the book, which is now a rarity: Travel to India Prince Alexei Saltykov.

In a book published drawings, watercolors and lithographs Saltykov and his letters.

mahratt, thanks for your inform on various Russian travelers to India etc, it helps explain the Indo-Persian arms and armors seen in Russian museums and collections. Great images as well.

In addition, what there were Russian travelers in India and Persia, a lot of interesting and wonderful weapons the rulers of these countries bring a gift to the Russian tsars.
