Default islamic arms collection - canada

is anyone familiar with the stewert museum in montreal, canada?
also, a collector called Gordon T. Howard, who donated (or his estate did) his collection of islamic arms to the museum?
http://www.stewart-museum.org/collec2.htm
would be good to know the content of the arms collection, if it all possible.

No, I can't say that I ever heard of it, but it sounds interesting, and I do wonder why the museum, when they have a home page, don't give a link for further questions - but maybe they don't want to be bothered with foolish questions.

yes, jens, its a shame as i specialise in foolish questions.
cant remember off-hand, but are there any forum members in that area?
unfortunately, emailing and phoning wont get anywhere (from my experience) and it will take someone to go there and see the collection, which i would assume is in reserve, as most aquisitions remain.

Hi BI,

Unfortunately Montreal is about 3000 miles from me. If I get out that way I will let you know. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

All the Best.
