As far as blade quality, the only blades I have ever seen that are better in forging, and finish, are Japanese! I judge the surface of a blade by reflective light. Look down one, and see the ripples. That Kamp. had none. I've found the best light to use, is a television, in the dark. You see EVERYTHING. M.P.
