Default identification of new daggers

hello all and happy new years,
two new items added to my collection. just wondering if any one can read the arabic/old turkish on the sarejevo knife, and whether its a newer one or a possible good find. secondly the other dagger, any one have any idea what, where, and age. silver construction.

Hello Mavi,

About the Sarejevo dagger I can't tell anything.
The other dagger is a gaucho knife, South America. Also beyond my field, but I recognized it from other threads.
I think you will get comment on the daggers from more knowledgeble members.

Interesting thing about the Sarajevo knife and its remarkable similarity to Surmene or Trabzon knives.

To those who know, was there a move of populations from the Pontus to Serbia?

it sure doesnt look or feel new, but you never know. hard to tell if its gold scripting or maybe brass, anyone have any ideas? still wondering about the inscriptions.

Can't help with the inscriptions, but to me the Bosnian bichaq looks like an old one (late 19th century) and a very good one at that. Congratulations!

SARAJEVO is a capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a msall country on the Balkan peninsula.
