I think the wood used for the scabbard is beautiful. Too bad the hilt has some damage.
I not even going to speculate as to the area of origin of this one.

Gee Kino,Kerismas come early this year?
The dress for this keris is clearly from Madura. The blade looks quite old. Could also be Madura, could be Jawa. What is the material embedded in the blade. I can't judge the color from the picture. Is it silver or gold? Very interesting indeed.

I agree with David on these... the wood seems to be made from 'kemuning' (murayya pinaculata). Lovely sheath, btw..

David, The dot in the blade is gold in color. Not sure what content is.

What does it represent?
