Hi Carlos

Your knife is most likely of European manufacture circa 1900 the scabbard seems more recent and has a American south western style to it. The scabbard looks like reworked puukko sheath to me?

I've very little experience, but could the blade have been made for the Argentine or Brazilian market? Some of the early "Gaucho" knifes were made in Solingen. The clip on the sheath looks like it's meant to hold on the belt or sash, similar to the Gaucho knives. Not disagreeing with Lew, just thinking out loud.

Good eyes there Steve I did not notice the clip on the scabbard so this could be an old Argentine punal?
