Question Won on eBay - for comment






The (Syrian?) jambaya I've long lusted after, but what is the other one?

one of those has the sikh emblem on the blade, and looks like a kirpan. there were a number of them cheaply made and flooded onto ebay a while back, sold as 'naval dirks',etc. (here's mine) - the 'pure steel' etched on one side and 'good luck' on the other is the give-away....



i think ebay has a sticky on them somewhere. the one in your post looks like an upmarket one, and may be one of the ones the scammers copied? it does come in variations tho, see my original posting HERE <-Linky

the jambyah looks cool tho.

There's another identical to it closing shortly but yours looks more cerimonial.
Anyway both together were cheap.
A jambyah like it was in the first Riddick movie and
does look cool. Very intimidating.
