I wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole. It screams "CHINA-A-A!!!!"

Just to soften a bit of what Ariel said (his cry of, "CHINA-A-A!!!!"), I would like to emphasize that many very good, well-forged weapons have come from China. And a few Chinese pieces rival the best pieces from any other nation in the world. Having said that, this particular sword is not one of them.

"Housecarl sword with cuprum vagina".
ive gotta get me one of them .. yes true there is many good chinese made swords,, but the,, things you see today are mostly ,, 10foot pole items , so to say,, there is still several good sword makers in china,, it is a pitty that their work is not commonly available,,, also ,, one mush however be careful when buying real chinese antiques,, in china making ripoffs and nockoffs of swords gos back 100 years , in the 1900 in hongkong this was alrady common practice, mostly making these bone katanas and such , |
