Thank you both for your reply. It is in any case a beauty.
After some more searching on Bavarian cannons i have not yet found this exact type. The colours match but the design is a little different.
Percussion or if it is a bit earlier than 1850s a flinrlock mechanism could have been used. There are some holes near the touchhole which support this idea.
