Hi Yves and chmorshuutz,

Interesting sword. The blade profile has some similarity to both the ginunting and sinampalok, as you each mention. Its width is narrower than usual examples of those blade types. A custom order seems the most likely explanation.

Agree with both of you that this is typical Rizal dress for the hilt and scabbard.
