Default Cavalry Sabre Austrian. Greek army 1900.

Hi gents.
Here is a Cavalry sabre from a Greek officer of period 1900-1920. Obviously it is Austrian made. My question is what exactly model is that and if there was a chance for someone to use it as a weapon. The blade looks vere flexible and thin to the tip. Generally it is a light Sabre not a heavy blade. It is very long. I have seen other types with heavier blades.
Thanks for your help.
Dimitris
