Default Wallace Collection

A couple of days ago I was for an very short stay in London for an auction. Because I had only very limited time in the UK I decided to visit the Wallace collection and look at some viking swords.
Sadly I didn't see many and it seems after googleing it up, most of the swords are in Leeds.

At the moment there is also a small table displayed where the inner linings of the helmets are. Very interessting, sadly I forgot to make pictures of that one

What I liked. It's not that crowded as the British museum. There are 3 rooms of interessting armoury and in the first floor are some very fine pictures.
What I didn't like so much is the light situation. It's really quite dark inside there. At least in the amourooms.
Fazit: i can recommend to visit that museum.

I photographed the most in my eyes interressting pieces for you.

For comparison the lightsituation in the British museum. I just checked that sword out and left the place again. Just too many people
