Default Anyone know of Kundu or Bakundu? Congo/Zaire

I have been researching a spear I bought and have posted some pictures on Previous Thread

I've come to a bit of a dead end, I don't have any books on tribes etc but have been looking on the net and found a spear with the exact same head (shaft is different)

Wondered if anyone could shine any light on the tribes: Kundu or Bakundu from any books etc they may own?

Many thanks
Kate

Hi Kate,

You could also try to look at : http://anthro.amnh.org/

Go to 'Collections Database' and then to 'African Etnographic Collection'. For the word 'spear' they give 1558 objects.

You could try to look if one of these pictures looks like your spear. Happy hunting.
