Default A strange one... (Keris)

Hello,

Before all, Thanks for sharing your expertise in those "matters",

So what do you thing of this one?

It look like a mix between a moro keris and a keris...

Is it :

A fake made in china or wherever?
A tourist thing?
A strange geniune keris?

Thanks

Welcome Nicholas. Your first link requires a password and your others don't seem to work for me at all.
Would love to see it though.

Could only see one small pic, imo, it might be a very old Moro Kris. 16-18" ? Better pics would be nice.

Looks to be a carbon copy of one posted by Ian: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...highlight=Moro

Nicholas, i did finally get to see picture on the first link. Nothing Moro about it, it's purely Balinese. I can't get the picture up too large, but it looks like a very nice one. would love to see more, larger and detailed pictures. Looks like a very good score on your part.
Bill, if you click on his photo you can get it to enlarge somewhat. I think you will then see that it doesn't resemble Ian's kris in the least bit.

That's weird Bill, that's NOT the picture that came up for me, and now when i just tried to go back to look the page requiring a password came up again. But i swear there was a very nice Bali blade there when i could see something. The blade in Nick's new thread is also a Bali keris and is neither the one you show nor the one i saw on the link in this thread.
What's more Bill, after close examination i would go so far as to suggest that the kris you are showing in this last post IS the same kris as Ian's.
