How old is this Talibong/Garab?
Hi guys this my first post on this forum.i have a question, i was wondering how old is this Talibong/Garab i got.is it a one of those ww2 victory souvenirs or is it older?any other info would be great.thanks in advance.

Looks like a post-WW2 piece to me; blade is not a toy though. How does it feel in the hand? Regards, Kai |

Agree with Kai that the blade seems very well made. What bother me is the handle. It look like painted with a tarnish of shellac and like it is not attached strong to the blade. Maybe a later replacement? Regards, Detlef Last edited by Sajen; 12th May 2012 at 12:05 AM. |

I have seen WWII pieces like this with this type of handle. It is WWII or after.

Kai i just won it recently on ebay for pretty cheap.im still waiting for it to come in the mail.ill let you know when i get it.it does look like it needs a bit of fixing.
