Default Scabbard restored!

Here a final post to complete this thread!
The scabbard had been restored by a good friend, who did a remarkable job!

On the other hand was this field repair very uniqueand have had it's own charme and I am seesaw what I like more.

Thank you Jose!

Detlef, I considered it very well if I should have it restored or not.
The reasons why I did it:
- The rope didn't seem to be an old "moro" repair (so not genuine).
- The whole bunti scabbardmouth was loose and only held
by the rope. So it wasn't possible to have the kris normally
in and out. And more damage could be made taking the kris
out and in not carefully done...

I need to make an image of the front, which I will post later.

Kind Regards,
Maurice

Lots of sunlight, please, to catch the gorgeous chatoyance!

And kudos to "we all know who you are"...

Kai

Hi Maurice,

you have the kris in your hands and I am sure that you have enough experience to decide what to do. I only know this kris from the pictures.

Regards,

Detlef
