Default Need help: books on European weapons

Folks,
A friend of mine from Russia asked me to find him good books on European weapons, kind of Elgood-like in scope and level, with many illustrations.
He is particularly interested in Swedish, Italian and Spanish swords post 15-th, before 20-th century.
I know nothing of the subject and need your advice.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
