Hello Asomotif, I think I can firmly answer this. Yes, there is a narrow domestic market for such item for different purposes but generally speaking as jimat/charm. From my observation the Semar shape being the most popular. Outsiders? Seriously? Do you mean like mysterious creatures from Mars? Well all I can say is that you don't need Indonesian passport to buy such item. Hope this help.

Thanks for your reply.
ET buy keris NO, by Outsiders I meant people from outside the indonesian culture.
But from your reply I understand that this object may also be made a a djimat.
The shape of an old man with hat and beard does not look very Indonesian to me, so therefore I had the feeling that this was made for westerners.
