Default Translation assistance on Ottoman Yataghan

My guess is that the script is Turkish and was hoping the script is not too decorative for a translation. Many thanks in advance for any assistance.

Looks like a religious inscription, judging from the frequent appearance of "Allah". In the square cartouche is "O, 'Ali!"

Hi Rick,
I have difficulty to give meaning to the inscription, I read some words here and there but I cannot reach to a meaningful reading. My guess is that these are references meaningful in Shia or rather in Bektashi order, not Turkish rhymes that I am used to read in yatağans.
