Hi All --

Interesting knife. Looks like it has at least a bit of age to it. I'm really just guessing here, but something about the hilt construction lead me to believe it is more likely to have a European (or even American) origin than an "Arabian" one.

The handle , looks to me, 'alien' to the piece. I think the handle is a later addition. The blade and crossguard look to be original. Regards David |

Reminds me of an old Swedish fishing knife like a Mora or something similar.
