This just finished on eBay......Papua New Guinea ???? Obviously an African Tebu dagger , it seems some people have money to 'burn' ...even though the 'credit crunch' is still lingering

Interesting ....is the sellers 'authenticity pledge'

he covered himself by saying it was FOUND in PNG, not that it originated there... semantics...

caveat emptor for sure...

I also hadn't noticed the addition of an eBayer's comment at the bottom of the listing ...stating that

.... In my opinion this item is a rather typical Tedda (or Teda, part of the Toubou ethnic group)knife from Tibesti, Chad
