Ah, this keris is familiar...
![]() The hilt is made from gigi? It's unusual for the maker of my hilt to acquire gigi material, I thought. But it is a really nice hilt.

Ah, I thought so.
when you mentioned "similar tukang", I thought you had commissioned the carver whom I knew to carve this. But also noticed that the ivory had a bit of a warm honey patina already, so shouldn't be recent.

Well, it's not the hilt. But i suspect the sheath is from the same tukang.

Oh, I think it is not. Your sheath is probably older work. Also, he does not finish his keris sheaths like that , and the buntut is not his style too.
