I agree completely with Rick and David. The missing gonjo is indeed the worst part. But your scabbard looks very good. Better than the pieces I see coming up now and then here in Holland and the mendak is replaceable.
In my opinion, but I'm Dutch, every keris collection should have such a keris because it fits in a category. that of the historical aspect. These keris where made for the dutch soldiers in those days. And, but it is guessing, the gonjo could have been missing since the keris became his present look.
