Montmorency blade in late 18th c. British military swords

Only now I discovered that this blade can also be classified as a "Montmorency" type.

Indeed it is Yuri! I forgot about this fascinating nimcha.......what history it has. The local armourers really put the entire montage of 'magic' into the blade with these markings from the European armory. No doubt the pride of a Berber warrior.
