Thought I would bump this, just to see if anybody had interest in these kinds of items. Clearly I was remiss in not thanking you Keith!!! I am so sorry. If I recall, I was a bit 'out of service' in medical stuff at that time, which is why I never followed up on the thread.

The subject matter of piracy has always been of key interest to me, and it was most exciting to end up with this example breech block!
I wonder if anyone out there has examples, interest in deck guns, breech blocks etc.
