here’s a similar Binangon that I have. this was identified by a blademaker in Cabatuan, Iloilo, Philippines.. the hilt and the use of carabao or cow bone on the handle is similar to the work of his grand uncle he said.

Very interesting. It sure does seem to be pretty much the very same hilt form and is possibly the same maker. Would love to see a few different angles of the hilt as well as the blade. Thanks!
