A short sidebar before we start the discussion of this sword. Is this a pedang lurus or a pedang suduk maru? I have seen this shape described as both in discussions in this forum. See #7 on this thread http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...ang+suduk+maru and also used in http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...ang+suduk+maru among others
vs. the opinions on these threads http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...ang+suduk+maru and http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...t=pedang+lurus and http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...t=pedang+lurus, which also line up with the book Traditional Weapons of the Indonesian Archiplago. Which is the correct terminology?

BTW I like this style of blade and the wayang figure on its hilt. I am curious who this represents. As far as paramor goes can I take a guess at pamor mlumah and a beras wutah variant?
