Your hilt and your guard are Persian.
It is true that the pommel has a karabela style.
This kind of hilt/pommel is very often connect to the Zand period.
It is clear that this Iranian sword was influenced by Ottoman culture.
The scabbard and the blade look Europeans, but I'm not sure about the blade.

I thought maybe the blade looks similar to the 1796 light cavalry sabre.

I totally agree with all of that. The blade could be of a M1796 British cavalry saber.
