Thanks Jose, this was the junggayan kris I told you about that I was eyeing. Kinda hit the wallet hard but that's one off the bucket list now. How old do you think this sword is? I will have the scabbard restored once the sword arrives here in NZ.

Congrats, nice hilt for sure!

I’d guess at 19th c. - any closeup of the base of the blade for verification?

Thanks Kai. I have not received the sword yet and these are the only images available from the seller. I will post pictures of the blade once I get it.
