It is good to have this comprehensive material compiled together here for readers and future researchers. Philip, thanks for the mention of the Furisayya volume which is brilliantly compiled material and photos as well. The complexities of this sword form often move into a notable spectrum given the periods and geo-cultural considerations but seem distinct and influential in their character. The decorative motif and elaborate designs in addition to their 'exotic' structures and elements are breathtaking to say the least. |
