Gustav Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Posts: 1,280	Guys, it's of course nothing of great importance, yet Johan's Keris quite clearly is a Riau or Straits piece (its Gandar/Batang included) and has nothing to with Sulawesi. The sheaths shown in this thread are Sulawesi Bugis. The Straits Sampir are boxier (wider) and could actually be easier to carve - they don't have the bulge.
