Default Flat Koummya

I suppose it is a Koummya although the cross-section of the scabbard is much flatter than I am used to seeing.
The two suspension loops are hinged.
Does anyone have any information on this type?
All comments greatfully received.

Wooden hilt.
All the rest is a white metal.
Blade 21 cm
O/A length 42 cm

Regards
Roy

This is no special Variation of a koummya. I have added fotos of similar examples with the same square cross section

They are very very recent, 1970ties or maybe later...
Pure touristic production, but some late 19th c. or early 20th c. were also touristic productions (of good quality).
The more important is that you like the object.

Try typing Koumiya into Search and Moroccan Daggers... Several spellings don't work...these do.
See http://www.vikingsword.com/ethsword/koummya/index.html See also http://nimcha.fr/koummya.htm
