That sword reminds me of a sword I saw in a book earlier today. (See attached pics, pg 205 in 中国古代钢铁冷兵器巡礼 (Cold Steel in Ancient China - Iron and Steel Parade).) As far as I can tell, this one is Chinese. There's no text for many pages nearby, so (not reading Chinese) I can't find the relevant text in the book.
The sword you are asking about above looks Chinese. Chinese blade, Chinese guard. Not a typical Chinese hilt, but I don't see why it might not be Chinese as well. |
