4 at the bottom 1.bottom left bolo, luzon post ww2, 2.bottom right barong mindanao, moro looks like a good older one, 3. second row left keris wavey blade form mindanao moro older one. 4. kampilian moro, mindanao older one.
there are at least a total of 5 the top two and two others in the middle , can tell by the handles and ferrules they were made in the same place and time period as #1 I am not sure what to call them perhaps bolo variations? at first look I thought all of these were moro plack minatures. the second one down on the left looks like a good example perhaps a form of bangkung?

Better photos would greatly help on this but I will give it a try. Both top two look to be Luzon bolos WWII or later. Second down on right looks to be a late pira from Mindanao ?. Third down on right ???. Forth down on right seems like it could be a late minasbad, Bikol. Fifth down on right is a bolo from Negros, WWII or later.

Best,
Robert

Hey Barry, what happened - broken keyboard?

I have to admit that I like this full size display even better!

Going with the current display limits, I believe spreading the blades out a bit more would be nice to avoid obscuring the flow of lines by multiple crossovers...

No, not a Moro bangkung. Nice blade though!

(The barung would be Sulu.)

Hello Robert,

Yes, I agree that the guesswork is partly pic-limited.

Whereever this one got crafted, they didn't got it right, especially the hilt. A Yakan of old would probably not be amused...

Third down on right ???
Repro. Supposed to be a "Moro" laring...

Forth down on right seems like it could be a late minasbad, Bikol.
Repro. Supposed to be a Golok from the northern Philippines...

Forth down on the left:
Repro. "Sansibar #2"

Fifth down on the left:
Repro. Out of production? (I believe, we discussed this here before?)

Yup, I cheated and looked at the catalog.

Kai
