Thanks for the measurements Tim, I like to try and get a feel for the scale of objects like this. Quite a big head then if it's that wide. While I don't have the experience you do working with stone, I can well understand your point about the difficulty in producing not just a usable head for the club, but one in a specific shape requiring a lot of material to be removed.

Very impressive, I can understand your fascination with these type of weapons, the dedication and time to produce them puts them in a league of their own.
