Hello, coincidentally I'm searching for the meaning of three fish emblem to be seen on Cirebon, which as far as I can find symbolize trinity or Trimurti of Hinduism concept. The similar symbol are to be found on Buddha footprint on Bodhgaya and Christian symbolism-triquetra, being the first to be the likely source.

Anyway it is appears that the two fish symbol are to be found on Budha footprint in East Asia and Continental South East Asia as the given pictures below, which according to wiki article read as: Golden Fish pair. Representing conjugal happiness and freedom. Not quite similar in composition/appearance so I have doubt about this.

Also (from the given pictures) it is interesting to see that the details on the bottom is rather roughly done compared to the rest.

Hope other member can contribute a more valid explanations
