G'day Spiral,

I have a very different point of view with regards to this segment of your comment, definately not for wall hanging.
This is likely by geography, anywhere from Bengal territories to the Dehli Sultinate...in my opinion likely western regions of the Dehli Sultinate and a personal side arm of an important individual who had relations with the northern borders.
The single loop aspect is also pure Indian as per the images attached and note the daggers in figures 215, 216, 221, 222 & 224 of Arts of the Muslim Knight.
