Yes, it's an amusing object with nasty workmanship. However, I'm curious about the iron they use ... Does it look like old iron (from old kerises) being recycled, or does it look like new modern material being reworked?

Just think a bit about where are we now in a year, and you will understand it....
it's Santa-Claus!!!! The problematic point is to call it "Keris Tombak" and "Rencong" and "estimate" it as "Tangguh Majapahit" after these three books, all other things may have happened, or may not with this item. Yes, that was my feeling too. especially being offered in the X-mas season. But seriously, I still have some questions. - Is there any market for such an item within Indonesia, maybe as a djimat ? - Or is such an item purely made for outsiders/western collectors ? - Also I wonder if due to the nice book on keris sajen we might encounter more fantasy keris like objects in the future ?
