its upside down, reverse it, and a turk will have a good chance of reading it

My vote would go for Greek - plenty of similar examples in Elgood's book.

Sorry for taking this long but this one proved to be a hard nut to crack. At first glance I thought it's the names of seven sleepers but no, this is something else. Any idea Dom? Can it be Arabic?

but also languages Caucasian languages who used Arabic alphabet ...
